Medoffice Professional Healthcare Solutions Met Industry Professionals at ALTENPFLEGE 2026

As Medoffice, we were pleased to meet industry professionals at ALTENPFLEGE 2026, held in Essen, Germany, between 21–23 April 2026. Focusing on care, elderly health, long-term care, hygiene and professional patient care, ALTENPFLEGE once again stood out as one of Europe’s key meeting points for the care sector.

This year’s exhibition in Essen brought together long-term care institutions, healthcare professionals, manufacturers, distributors and innovative solution providers under one roof. According to the official exhibition figures, ALTENPFLEGE 2026 welcomed 18,000 professional visitors and 500 exhibitors from 16 countries, reflecting strong international participation.

As Medoffice, we had the opportunity to present our product portfolio designed to support and simplify professional care routines.

Practical, Safe and Comfortable Solutions for Professional Care

In professional care processes, hygiene, skin protection and ease of application are becoming increasingly important. Especially in bedridden patient care, intensive care, long-term care and home care settings, products are expected not only to provide cleansing, but also to support caregiver workflow and enhance patient comfort.

The Medoffice product portfolio has been developed with these needs in mind. During the exhibition, we had the opportunity to introduce visitors to several of our key product groups, including:

  • MED-COVER Shampoo Cap
  • MED-COVER Body Cleansing Foam
  • MED-COVER Barrier Cream Wash Gloves
  • MED-COVER Barrier Cream Wipe
  • MED-COVER Barrier Cream Perineal Wipes
  • MED-COVER Barrier Cream
  • MED-COVER Perineal and body cleansing products
  • MED-COVER Rinse-free professional care solutions

These products offer practical advantages in care scenarios where access to water is limited or where moving the patient may be difficult. They also help care teams create a more controlled, standardized and efficient daily care routine.

Key Care Trends Highlighted at ALTENPFLEGE 2026

ALTENPFLEGE 2026 was more than a product exhibition. It also served as a strong platform for discussing the transformation of the care sector. The official exhibition communication highlighted a broad range of topics, including care and therapy, profession and education, IT and management, kitchen and nutrition, textile and hygiene, living environments and technical solutions.

Among the key themes that stood out this year were:

1. Practicality and Time Management in Care

Solutions that help reduce caregiver workload and enable faster, more standardized applications received strong attention.

2. Skin Health in Long-Term Care

Incontinence care, maceration risk, sensitive skin care and barrier-supported products were recognized as important elements of care quality.

3. Digitalization and Innovative Care Models

Digitalization, artificial intelligence, robotics and new care models were among the topics highlighted in the exhibition program.

4. Sustainable and Applicable Solutions

The importance of products that are not only innovative but also easy to integrate into daily care practice was strongly emphasized.

These themes closely align with Medoffice’s approach to professional care product development. For us, a good care product should not only be effective; it should also be clear, practical, reliable and truly supportive of the care process.

Strong Interest in Med-Cover Barrier Cream Wash Gloves

One of the products that attracted attention at ALTENPFLEGE 2026 was the Med-Cover Barrier Cream Wash Gloves. Developed for use in incontinence care, bedridden patient care and long-term care routines, this product offers cleansing, protection and skin care support in one practical step.

With its formula containing 3% dimethicone, the Barrier Cream Wash Gloves helps support the skin barrier. Its rinse-free structure simplifies the care process, while the wearable glove format enables a more controlled and practical application for caregivers.

This product responds especially to the following care needs:

  • Hygiene and care support in incontinence areas
  • Barrier protection support on intact skin
  • Care support for areas exposed to maceration and friction
  • Practical cleansing needs in bedridden and intensive care patients
  • Rinse-free care routines

During our conversations at the exhibition, we observed that care professionals were particularly interested in single-use hygiene, rinse-free application, barrier support and the practical use of the glove format.

Shampoo Cap and Rinse-Free Care Products

The Med-Cover Shampoo Cap with conditioner was also among the products that attracted visitors’ interest during the exhibition. The ability to wash hair at the bedside without the need for water or rinsing offers an important practical advantage, especially for individuals with limited mobility, intensive care patients, post-operative care patients and home care users.

Rinse-free care products support both patient comfort and caregiver convenience in professional care settings. This approach aligns with the growing expectations of modern care, where comfort, practicality and hygiene are increasingly important.

International Meetings and New Collaboration Opportunities

ALTENPFLEGE 2026 was not only an exhibition where we presented our products. It was also a valuable meeting point where we directly connected with care professionals, distributors and potential business partners from different countries.

Throughout the exhibition, we held productive discussions with visitors about professional care needs, product usage scenarios, distribution channels and market-specific expectations. We observed strong interest in long-term care, elderly care centers, hospital care processes and home care solutions, particularly across the European market.

These meetings represented an important step for Medoffice in strengthening its international presence and introducing its solution-oriented care portfolio to a wider professional audience.

User-Friendly Products Stand Out in the Future of Professional Care

ALTENPFLEGE 2026 once again showed that the value expected from care products is not limited to technical specifications. How a product integrates into the care process, how it simplifies application, how it reduces caregiver workload and how it supports patient comfort are just as important as the product’s formulation.

As Medoffice, this perspective is at the center of our product development approach. We believe that every product used in bedridden patient care, intensive care, long-term care and home care should be practical, safe, understandable and suitable for professional use.

Thank You, Essen

We would like to thank all our business partners, industry professionals and visitors who visited our booth and showed interest in our products throughout ALTENPFLEGE 2026.

As Medoffice, we will continue to develop products that add value to professional care processes and to meet healthcare professionals in international platforms.

Danke, Essen.
We look forward to meeting again in the future of professional care.
