USAGE AREAS

1. It is used to protect the irritation and redness that may occur at the pressure points due to the compression in the patients who use the diapers.
2. It is used to prevent the formation of pressure ulcers that may occur due to incontinence on the skin.
3. It is used to minimize the irritation that may occur while positioning hospitalized patients.
4. It is used to prevent macerations that may occur on all wound edges.

MED-COVER BARRIER CREAM USAGE AND APPLICATION

1. First of all, before application the skin has to be clean and dry.
2. It should be applied as a thin layer twice a day.
3. The cream, which is applied every 12 hours on the applied areas, should be cleaned from the skin without leaving any residue, and the new application should be started after cleaning.
4. It should be used more frequently in the incontinence area with urine leakage and stool leakage.
5. When applied on the skin, it creates a barrier against urine and sweat.
6. In patients who are constantly hospitalized, the barrier prevents the formation of wounds by protecting the pressure points against friction, especially at the pressure points (on the heels, coccyx, back, shoulders, hips and elbows).
7. At the end of regular use in hospitalized patients, it prevents the formation of wounds as well as moisturizes and nourishes the skin.
